Important Notification on Geomagnetic and Geoelectric 0.1-second values
Previously, a 150-second high-pass filter was applied to analogue signals before the analogue/digital (A/D) conversion for recording of 0.1-second values.
Data since 1 January 2012 have been recorded with direct A/D conversion of analogue signals without filtering in line with changes in the recording method forthe 0.1-second values as below.
Processing and recording of 0.1 second data
Until 31 December 2011
Analogue output of measuring instrument → 150 s high-pass filter → A/D converter → Data recorder
1 January 2012 onward
Analogue output of measuring instrument → A/D converter → Data recorder
To display a plot diagram of data processed with the previous filter, check the "High-pass Filter" box on the plot diagram specification screen.
