The magnetic station coordinates have been changed as per the table below in line with new Japan Geodetic System 2000 data based on a revision of the Survey Law in April 2002.
The latitude/longitude of Memambetsu and the altitudes of all stations have changed, both due to the above revision and to JMA's redefinition of the geomagnetic absolute reference points at instrument centers.
The observation positions of the stations and geomagnetic observation values have not changed.
